MedSearch Yemen is a comprehensive electronic medical platform designed to make it easier to access drug information and health services in Yemen. It aims to serve medical professionals (doctors and pharmacists) and also provides patients with a safer, more reliable directory to search for medical needs quickly.

It provides: (1) Comprehensive drug search (by trade and scientific names) with details such as doses, dosage forms, alternatives, side effects, contraindications, and pregnancy safety category; (2) A medical and laboratory encyclopedia explaining diseases and symptoms plus a guide to lab tests and normal values to help interpret results; (3) Quick access to official medical emergency numbers (191 or 199).

Yes. It is built with offline-first capabilities using PWA technologies and an advanced local database, allowing you to browse and search the medical database without an internet connection once data is available locally.

The app includes a dedicated local storage control panel that lets you save data to the local database, restore data, export data for backup, and clear cached storage to free up phone space.

It supports fast voice search, QR and barcode scanning via the camera to read medicine packages and access their data, quick copy-to-clipboard, and one-tap sharing. It also can fetch your current location on maps to help find nearby hospitals, clinics, and medical labs and view directions.

Yes. It provides push notifications so users can stay updated with the latest medical updates and important alerts.

It can keep the screen active while reading to prevent the phone from sleeping, supports full-screen mode, and allows screen orientation lock (portrait/landscape). It also shows battery status and network connection information, and supports notifications and device vibration.
